Repairs & Alterations
Over time we all change size, yet still retain our fondness for those favourite items.
We find garments in the shops which would be absolutely perfect, if only “this was in my size”.
We move house and our curtains are not quite the right size.
Hems fall down, pockets wear out, buttons fall off and all manner of other disasters occur. Disposal is not necessarily the only option.
Our seamstresses are very experienced; they do know what is and is not possible.
Our advice and recommendations are free - we will:
- Shorten or Lengthen:
Sleeves and Trousers, Jackets and Coats. - Take in or Let out:
Dresses, Jackets, trousers, Skirts, Coats, Blouses and Shirts. - Replace Pockets, Zips and Buttons.
- Lengthen or Shorten Curtains as well as making them wider or narrower.
- Make Customised modifications to garments.
- Rips, Tears and other damage can be repaired.
Remember, if you have a problem - our advice/recommendations are realistic and free.
